International Ibsen Scolarships seek Applicants

The International Ibsen Scholarships are applicable for individuals, organizations or institutions within the artistic and cultural communities in India, with May 1st as the final deadline.

The International Ibsen Scholarships were established by the Norwegian parliament in 2007. The Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs administers the funds, while the Skien municipality carry out the administrative support functions for the scholarships and the review panel.

The International Ibsen Scholarships are meant to act as incentives for critical discourse in regards to existential and society-related subject matters concerning Henrik Ibsen.

Total scholarship funds is NOK 1,000,000.
Application deadline is May 1st 2009.
