Visa

 

 

RESIDENCE PERMITS

Please note that all birth, death and marriage certificates from India should have an apostille from the Ministry of External Affairs.

 

If you have allready got a clearance from UDI, please submit your passport together with one Schengen Visa application form duly filled in, 1 recent passport size photograph with white background and 1 copy of first and last page of your passport. Those who applied from New Delhi will only need to submit their passport and passport picture.

 

 

Work

Please note that UDI require various different forms for different type of work permits. Please refer to this site for the various forms for work and residence permits.

Application requirements for entry visa, type D for work purpose

  • All the same supporting documents as for the type of work permit you are applying for (see here).
  • Schengen visa application form
  • Applicant information form
  • Invitation letter from reference and covering letter from applicant
  • Passport

Please refer to UDI for more information on entry visa (D-visa) for skilled workers.

 

Please note that all applicants for a skilled jobseeker permit have to submit their application personally. You might also be called for an interview at the Embassy in New Delhi at a later stage. 

 

 

Study

 

 

Family reunification

  • UDI require various supporting documents depending on whom you are seeking family reunification with. Please refer to this site for the various forms and document check lists for family reunification.

 

Application requirements for entry visa, type D for spouse and child

  • All the same documents as for family immigration (for checklist click here).
  • Schengen visa application form
  • Applicant information form
  • Invitation letter from reference and covering letter from applicant
  • Passport
  • If visa fee is applicable INR 3700 should be paid as a draft (family of specialists and skilled workers are excempted).
