Aqua Nor 2007

The Aqua Nor 2007, one of the largest international aquaculture exhibition, will be held in Trondheim, from August 14 to 17, 2007.

01/08/2007 :: Aqua Nor, held once in two years, is a forum that facilitates strategic dialogue between Norwegian enterprises and enterprises from the rest of the world to explore partnerships. It is one of the world’s largest convergences of leading global enterprises in the field of aquaculture. The event provides an opportunity to get up-to-date exposure to innovations in the sector, market expectations and regulatory challenges that will impact global access for aquaculture based products. The workshop sessions, technical exhibition and a match making dialogue session are the three key components of the Aqua Nor initiative.

For the first time, an Indian delegation including big players in the aquaculture industry, lead by the Indo Norwegian Matchmaking Program, will participate in the exhibition. The delegation includes representative from Sathguru Management Consultants, which is the regional contact point for Matchmaking Program in Hyderabad. Other participants include Marine Technologies, Chennai, Pancham Aquaculture Farms Limited, Mumbai and Ananda Group, West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh.

The event will enable the participants to meet with suppliers and users of technology and know-how from all over Europe; promote their own technology and meet with potential cooperation partners; and explore technological up-gradation and any other form of collaboration with Norwegian companies.
