Delhi Ibsen Festival 2008

From December 2008 an annual Ibsen Festival will take place in New Delhi. The Royal Norwegian Embassy has initiated this Festival in co-operation with Nissar Allana/Dramatic Art & Design Academy (DADA). Allana has a team of Indian Ibsen-experts working closely with him. This year the Festival will contain three Indian Ibsen-productions, two international and a cross-professional seminar.

The process that leads up to the events in December, involves Indian experts both within Academia and the theatre- and drama world. The first successful meeting between the Indian- and the Norwegian professionals was held in September in New Delhi.
