Norwegian Literature Abroad (NORLA) participated at the Delhi book fair for the first time this year. NORLA is a government-funded, non-commercial foundation which promotes Norwegian literature. In collaboration Norwegian Literature Abroad (NORLA) and A&A Book Trust give Indian children the opportunity to experience Norway through reading. Four Norwegian books translated into Hindi will be launched Monday 23rd of August.

NORLA is a government-funded, non-commercial foundation which promotes Norwegian literature to other countries. More than 2000 books by Norwegian authors have been published with grants from NORLA since 1978. Foreign publishers of Norwegian books may apply for a translation subsidy.
