New peace research partner for Norway

16/04/2010 // The Malaviya Centre for Peace Research (MCPR) at the Banares Hindu University will be a new partner in Norway’s collaboration with Indian research institutions.

The Centre this week signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Peace Research institute, Oslo (PRIO). MCPR will be a new partner for PRIO in India, supplementing the cooperation that have already taken place over the last 4 ½ years between PRIO and the Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis (IDSA) in Delhi.

The three institutions plan to cooperate on various projects related to security in South Asia and India’s emerging role.
