Culture Norway’s new Opera House to be opened 07/04/2008 :: The longed for Opera House at the sea side in Oslo will formally be opened on 12 April by His Majesty King Harald of Norway. The Opera is Norway’s second largest cultural building, only beaten by the Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim. Cultural cooperation Cultural co-operation between Norway and India 23/06/2008 :: Culture is one of the prioritised areas in the collaboration between India and Norway (Ref: Norway’s ‘Action Plan for India’). Cultural co-operation is therefore high up on the agenda for the Embassy. Ibsen 2008 Delhi Ibsen Festival to be launched in 2008 19/06/2008 :: The Royal Norwegian Embassy in New Delhi has signed a contract with Nissar Allana/Dramatic Art & Design Academy (DADA) on co-ordinating the establishment of an annual Ibsen festival in New Delhi in cooperation with the Embassy.
