Raqs Media Collective displays work in Oslo

The Indian trio in the Raqs Media Collective (RMC), established by Jeebesh Bagchi, Monica Narula and Shuddhabrata Sengupta in 1991, will hold a presentation of their ongoing projects in Oslo 2 April.

02/04/2008 :: The presentation will commence at 7 pm in the ISP Oslo Studio 4, Wergelandsveien 17.

Internationally renowned, the artists combine contemporary art, philosophical speculation, research and theory in their work presented through installations, media objects, performances and encounters.

The RMC have been invited to Oslo by the Office of Contemporary Art Norway (OCA).
The institution offers financial support on a quarterly basis to international artists in order to promote innovative artist productions. The OCA’s international support programme is funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign affairs.

The next deadline for application to OCA for their international support programme is
